This error typically occurs when the Pinch Roller is not making contact with the Capstan, after tape load. Meaning that the changing of the Pinch Roller is either long overdue, or the Threading Ring itself has a problem. Machine should be brought in for service, and checked for mechanical parts wear. This will most likely turn out to require Periodic Maintenance or a Full Rebuild. |
