For webcasts that originate out on the
Internet, or from any distant location such as from another branch office,
the local StreamServer enables any number of simultaneous viewers to watch
it internally, while pulling just a single copy from outside. If your
network has bottlenecks, or has several different MDF's or IDF's, adding a
replicating server at key network junctions allows users to be served from
that point.
